10 Ways to Reduce Stress in Your Life

Coronavirus, Black Lives Matter, peaceful protesters vs rioters, the economy, politics, masks, social distancing, it’s all stress-inducing.  

I was looking back at the posts I’ve written and realized many of them deal with positive ways to eliminate stress.  All of them are easy to do and should bring some fun and joy into your life. So I’ve consolidated them into this post.  I hope you find this helpful.

1. Get Out in Nature

2. Practice Kindness

6. Spend Time With People You Love

This one can be more difficult in the days of COVID-19.  But if you want to connect with people you are not quarantining with, try an outdoor activity such as a bike ride or a hike, or zoom with them – while it’s not as good as being with them in person, it’s the next best thing in these trying times.  Read on.

 

7. Listen To Music

8. Spend Time With Animals

  1. Being outdoors is my ‘best medicine’ for stress relief. This week I tried a new activity- Yoga on SUP. Breathing, stretching, and balancing out on beautiful Ayers Creek with seabirds soaring overhead left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Thank you for these positive reminders Jackie!
