It’s that time of year where we give extra thought to all we have to be thankful for and think about the coming year and what our hopes and dreams are. We at MKRO have much to be grateful for and we have some exciting changes coming in the new year.
We’re happy to announce we’re changing it up to make our grants even better. As of January 1, 2022, we’re increasing the amount of our grants from $250 to $500 each, and that’s not all. We’re also increasing the guaranteed number of grants from 2 to 4 grants annually.
Our kindness awards will stay the same at $250 with a certificate of appreciation but we’re also increasing the guaranteed number of awards from 2 to 4 awards annually.
We want to give a huge thank you to all of our generous donors who made this possible because we couldn’t have done this without your support. We also want to say thank you to everyone who supports, follows, and shares us, and who nominate inspirational people and submit ideas for kindness projects. We’re grateful to all of you.
My brother, Mike, said to me, “I can’t read your articles without feeling better about people.”
That is our hope for every one of you, that you read MKRO and feel encouraged and inspired by the stories we share. That you see how one person can make a difference, no matter how old or how poor. We all matter and we all can make a positive impact on our world.
Our ripple of kindness is turning into a tsunami. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and so proud of the people we’ve recognized with our kindness awards and grants. They are now part of our ever-expanding MKRO family. I imagine Matt with his big, beautiful, wide-open smile, looking with wonder and awe at all the kind acts done in his name. With all of your support, we truly are making our world better, one kindness at a time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Ron, Jackie, and Brian
